Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy
AEEESJ aims to preserve published scholarly content and maintain stable public access to article metadata, abstracts, and full-text files.
1. Journal Archive
Published articles are maintained in the public archive of AEEESJ. The archive provides article titles, authors, publication year, volume, issue, pages, article metadata, and full-text links where available.
2. Stable Article Links
AEEESJ aims to maintain stable article pages and file URLs to support indexing, citation continuity, and long-term discovery. Existing public article file paths may be preserved whenever possible during website updates.
3. Backup and Preservation
The journal maintains internal backups of published article files, metadata, and related archive records. Backup procedures should include website files, database records, article PDFs, and metadata export files.
AEEESJ may also use institutional repositories, library catalogues, indexing services, and metadata harvesting systems to improve long-term visibility and preservation.
4. Metadata Preservation
Article metadata should be preserved in structured form, including title, authors, abstract, keywords, ISSN, publication date, volume, issue, pages, PDF URL, and citation metadata.
5. Future Preservation Development
AEEESJ intends to strengthen digital preservation by supporting recognized preservation and indexing workflows, including stable article landing pages, sitemap submission, metadata export, and future OAI-PMH metadata exposure.
